From business to baseball, corporate opportunity to country landscapes - the greated Peoria region has it all. For families and professionals, entrepreneurs or entertainers - you'll find something here!

As a three-time winner of the "All-American City" Award, Peoria touts big city assets with a more
carefree lifestyle. Scenic landscapes, a newly developed riverfront, and thriving business and cultural communities make our city a place you'll want to call "home."

Our local economy has thumbed its nose at fluctuating national trends and to this day continues to stay extremely stable. According to Forbes magazine, Peoria is ranked the most affordable U.S. metropolitan area to live in out of the nation's 150 largest metro areas. Forbes also ranked Peoria #47 out of the largest 150 metropolitan areas in its annual "Best Places for Business and Careers."

And our future couldn't be brighter. Efforts are already underway to attract technology-based businesses and enhance our thriving medical community.

Plans to revitalize our downtown and riverfront are moving forward as well as commercial developments throughout our entire city. These are exciting times. Come see for yourself. Peoria is truly a place you will want to live, work and play.
